Peter
Batchelder
Moon Astronaut
Born in 1974, Peter currently resides in Milwaukee, Nebraska
and is obsessed with the inadequacies of his fellow man. Formerly
a filmmaker with philanthropic tendencies, Peter’s been
trying too hard to make a follow-up film to his smash cinema
hit “Hook Line & Sinking”(perhaps you’ve
heard of it?). It’s been about five years now, and he’s
not getting any younger, nor any more relevant. He joined up
with the other two members of Irritating Rainbow (not mentioned
in this bio) on a whim in 1997; a whim that will never end,
a whim that will actively consume all human life in a fiery
inferno of pain and injustice given enough time.
Luckily
for Peter, he has a steady job and no fiscal responsibilities,
so when it comes to being creative he can really churn out the
good stuff during the one hour after breakfast, before he goes
to work, and the 45 minutes after dinner, just before he goes
to bed. In that one hour and 45 minutes a day, Peter has managed
to give over $2000 dollars to a homeless man named Smitty, as
well as pen this bio. Secretly, I believe, Peter really wants
Irritating Rainbow to experience success beyond reasonable measure,
largely because it would temporarily take the pressure off him
to produce anything of his own.
There
are few certainties in this life, but one is that Peter likes
the music and personality of Sting, the lead singer of the now
defunct reggae-pop trio The Police. It is a scary fascination
that is difficult to comprehend, but it is as real and vital
to him, as the chair you’re presumably sitting on.
